A group of observers with a big telescope watched this sandpiper. Gustavo took these photos showing some distinctive characteristics which tell them apart from the the greater and the lesser yellowlegs.
We have got few records of this sandpiper. It is the smallest of the three. It has greenish legs and white eyering. The rump is split and the rest of the tail, barred.
