Claudia found this family at the end of the cattail bed on January 1st. There were 6 chicks.

On 9th only three kids were spotted. Parents must teach kids the tecnique to remove the fleshy part of the apple snail. So they need kids to focus. If other siblings were present there would certainly be fights over food or distractions of any kind

Chicks keep growing and meeting neighbours becomes a must.
