Story of a woodpecker's nest

This is the story of a nest which was built by a Green-barred Woodpecker at the end of 2007. It was built in a dried trunk near the Viamonte Access on the right before reaching the benches and at 10 m from the path. In three consecutive years ti was reused by woodpeckers.

In 2009 there was a pari of Green-barred woodpecker which nested or were about to nest. Unluckily a storm pulled the trunk down with the nest facing downwards and it was impossible for me to check the condition of the nest.
