Green with light grey forehead and throat. Breast light grey with scaly effect. Yellowish green belly. Undertail coverts green. Blue rectrices and oragne bill.

Parakeets, victims of illegal trade. They are tinged yellow with hair dye to be sold as exotic parrakeets. Since the feathers are changed in the following molt, the parakeet will recover its natural colour, but what about the skin, is it affected by these products?

Diet
Essentillay a granivore. Feeds on a wide variety of seeds both from trees, herbs or grasses. That's why it may be seen foraging everywhere.
