For a change a Red-gartered Coot attacked a Common Gallinule. Meanwhile, another Coot jumped on another Gallinule which looked small and pecked at it fiercely so that it could not take its head above water.

The bigger Common Gallinule came to assist the victim, which left the scene stealthily. The free Red-gartered Coot got into the fight and both beat the brave gallinule up.
